Koshi-no-Kuni Museum of Literature

A great place to learn about Toyama’s literary works and authors
This museum celebrates the literary associations of Toyama Prefecture, such as the eminent 8th century Man’yo poet Otomo-no-Yakamochi, who wrote 223 poems about Toyama, and Fujiko F. Fujio, a famous manga artist best known for the popular series “Doraemon”. Children and adults alike will enjoy the “digital picture scroll”, which uses cutting edge technology. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant on the premises.
