“Iki-Iki Sakana Festival” (Festival of Fresh Seafood) is Coming Up!

It’s a great opportunity to buy all kinds of fresh seafood from the bay! The festival is going to be held at the 5th floor of CiC building (located in front of the Toyama Station). You can not only purchase fresh seafood but also enjoy talk-show, video presentation and many others!
Come to multipurpose hall of the CiC building on February 5th & 6th with friends and family!

“The 57th All Japan Chindon Contest” is coming up together with the coming of spring. This year’s contest, which marks the 57th, will be held from April 8th through 10th. This is a one-of-a-kind event held in Japan as more than a hundred of professional Chindon street performers gather to compete with each other to win the best performance.
Come to Toyama City and meet the all-star Chindon performers! Don’t miss this unique event!

“Toyama Snow Piard 2011” is being held from December 1st, 2010 to February 28th, 2011. We just had an opening ceremony on December 1st, and from that day on Joshi O-dori Boulevard and the Toyama Castle Park are fantastically illuminated! Besides the illuminations, a various events such as the New Year Countdown and a Ramen noodle Festival are coming up!
Come to Toyama City to see the winter illuminations and join in the various events with friends and family!

Toyama Festival 2010
The 50th annual summer event, Toyama Festival is going to be held on August 6th to 8th in 2010. There will be a several exciting performances such as "Etchu Owara Dance", "Ozy-summer Rock Festival" and "Yosakoi Dance". Bring kids to see a number of special purpose vehicles lined up on the street!
