Shusui Museum of Art

One of the greatest Japanese sword collections in Japan
This private museum has an impressive 40 samurai swords and pieces of body armor from the 9th to 14th centuries on permanent display, plus Japanese and Chinese artwork. Also of interest is the exhibit detailing the creation of a Japanese sword. “Shusui” means “clear autumn water” which represents the beauty and exquisite styling of Japanese swords.
