Iwasehama Bathing Beach

Iwase Beach is a safe picturesque beach that was called “Etchu Maiko” in the old days. The beach town of Iwase features historic streets, which thrived on Kitamaebune-ship sea trading, and the Port of Toyama, the sea gateway to Toyama City. A majestic view of the Tateyama Mountain Range can be seen over the sea from the beach, which is crowded with many sea goers in summer. Sea fishing can also be enjoyed.
