Summer vacation! Let's go to [Cardboard Dinosaur Amusement Park]!
The children are probably starting to get restless, and their parents might be starting to panic...
It's coming soon, that thing
Yes, 🌻Summer Vacation????
I'm sure everyone has different plans for enjoying the sea, mountains, and more.
The summers lately have been way too hot, haven't they?
Especially during summer vacation, letting children play outside in this heat is tough for both parents and children.
So, this time, I'd like to introduce an event currently being held at Toyama Civic Plaza! I went to check it out right away.
[Cardboard Dinosaur Amusement Park]

The entrance is a gate made of cardboard.

As soon as you pass through the gate, you'll find a maze with a huge dinosaur-shaped mouth as its entrance.
This maze, though it might be hard to tell from the photos, is large enough for adults to enjoy as well.

The interior is also divided into complex sections, and it looks like it would be fun to search for the dinosaurs hiding inside.

With its spacious area, large dinosaur slides, rocking horses, seesaws, and more, it truly feels like a park!
Since children can play in a cool indoor environment just like in a park, it's also a good way to prevent heatstroke.
There are plenty of chairs around, so parents can watch over their children without worrying about the sun or temperature.

In parks filled with energetic children, it can be worrying to let younger children play together.
They even had a dedicated toddler corner here.
In the back of the heartwarming children's corner, there's something that looks like it's going to be fun...

This thing looks just like something you'd find in an arcade, and it's called the "Dinosaur Air Bazooka."

A shooting game where you shoot balls into the hole at the back.
There are three different sizes of holes: one large hole, two medium holes, and three small holes.
The balls shoot out with such force, it's quite exhilarating!
But it was surprisingly difficult... I ended up getting childishly serious and put my heart and soul into it!

I ended up getting really serious about this one too...
It's a simple game where you guide a marble from the start to the finish line, making sure it doesn't fall into any holes, but...
It falls into the hole at just the right moment, so you need to fine-tune the tilt, making it surprisingly complex!

Hand-operated trolley ride (100 yen for two laps)
Since you move forward by turning the handlebars, even young children can enjoy cycling in the dinosaur forest.

The sales corner has a variety of cardboard crafting kits on display.
There were some unique things there, like vending machines, gachapon machines, and even a machine for Umaibo snacks!
[Cardboard Dinosaur Amusement Park] is being held at Toyama Civic Plaza Art Gallery until August 16th (Sunday).
