For two days, the quiet port town will be enveloped in excitement.

During the day, 11 floats parade majestically through the town of Iwase, their banners swaying.
At night, the festival reaches its climax with the thrilling "pulling" of floats as they collide with each other.
The "Tatemono Kazari" decorations, which each town creates with ingenuity every year, are a highlight to compare.
Suwa Shrine is lined with numerous stalls, allowing visitors to enjoy the lively atmosphere of the festival.

This is a historic festival held every year on May 17th and 18th.

During the day, 11 floats were paraded, incorporating themes of business prosperity and current events.
They parade through the streets of Iwase, shaking their uniquely decorated "tatemono" (decorative structures).
The sight of the old townscape combined with the powerful sounds of the festival music evokes a sense of nostalgia and creates a heartwarming atmosphere.

And as night falls, the festival reaches its climax.
The floats collide with each other, and a "pulling contest" begins, where they compete to see who can pull the float the strongest.
