Perfect for those who are confident in their stamina or simply enjoy walking! This is a walking tour of approximately 5km.
The Kureha Hills are a treasure trove of culture and nature.
There are plenty of attractions, including prime viewing spots overlooking the Tateyama mountain range, a folk art village, a glass workshop, a family park, Jomon period ruins and burial mounds, medieval castle ruins, numerous historical sites, and venerable shrines and temples.
You can also enjoy trekking in nature, surrounded by lush woodlands, unique geological formations, and a diverse array of wild birds, all of which give you a sense of the richness of the rural landscape. There are also plenty of nature trails (footpaths) along the ridges of the hills.
