Visiting a legendary village shrouded in mystery

Osawano is a region centered around the steep Jinzu River basin, where traces of history from the time of Naumann's elephants to the Jomon, Asuka, Edo, and modern times can be seen everywhere. We recommend Jike Park. It is a park built by a local doctor who invested his private funds to imitate Arashiyama in Kyoto. The "Akagashi Grove," a Toyama Prefecture designated natural monument, is particularly famous. We encourage you to experience an exploratory walk while learning about the history, culture, and mythology of the Osawano and Hosoiri areas. There are also three other courses, including the "Village of Wild Buddha Statues Course" and the "Jinzu Gorge Autumn Leaves Viewing Course."
