Masu-no-sushi making experience / Minamoto Masu no Sushi Museum

Experience

Experience making masu no sushi, a tradition spanning 100 years, with your own hands.

This museum, created by Minamoto, a long-established company with over 100 years of history, allows visitors to experience the world of Masu-zushi, a specialty of Toyama.
Among the most popular activities is the "Masu no Sushi Making Experience," which requires reservations.

During the experience, participants get to try making masuzushi (trout sushi) while observing the tools and processes actually used by professional craftsmen up close.
Through the meticulous process of creating each and every item, you can experience with all your senses the reason why this traditional flavor has been passed down through generations.

Making your own "one-of-a-kind masuzushi" is not only a great way to remember your trip, but it's also appealing because you can take it home as a souvenir.
The facility also includes a souvenir shop and a restaurant, so you can enjoy freshly made masuzushi after your experience.

"See, make, taste, and buy"
Please enjoy this special experience where you can fully immerse yourself in Toyama's food culture.
