Soba noodle making experience / Oyama Tourism Development
Handmade Soba Noodle Making Workshop using locally produced buckwheat flour
Local mothers act as instructors, and participants can enjoy handmade soba noodles that were made that very day.
From kneading the dough to rolling it out and cutting it—a bowl you've finished with your own hands tastes exceptionally good.
It can be enjoyed by everyone, from children to the elderly.
The experience includes thorough support from the instructor, so even beginners can feel at ease.
After making the soba noodles, you can boil the noodles you made in separate pots and sample them. You can take home any leftovers as a souvenir.
It's perfect for recreation with family and friends, as well as group activities with local communities, colleagues, schoolmates, relatives, and classmates, and is also recommended for experiential learning and sightseeing.
