Sugadaira Campsite is a quiet campsite nestled in a broadleaf forest at the foot of Mt. Shirakimine, which rises to an altitude of 1,596m.
There are 60 tent sites, and cottages and bungalows are also available, so you can choose according to your travel style, from a casual stay to a more extended stay.
It is equipped with hot water coin showers and flush toilets, so even first-time visitors can feel at ease.
It is a popular base for climbing Mt. Shirakimine and observing nature, and every year from early to mid-July, you can see the plateau scenery with its profusion of blooming daylilies.
Another great benefit is that day trips (10:00 AM to 16:00 PM) are half price.
