The planetarium at the Toyama City Science Museum, located in the heart of Toyama City, is an experiential spot where you can enjoy a realistic starry sky using the latest technology.

Renovated in 2023, it became a hybrid system that combines optical projection and digital imagery.
Approximately 1 million stars are projected, and their colors, brightness, and even the structure of the Milky Way are beautifully reproduced.

Experience the breathtaking visuals of Earth, planets, and the latest universe with incredible realism through 4K laser projectors.
You can spend time in a quiet dome, feeling as if you're surrounded by a starry sky.

The projector, featuring a verdigris finish from Takaoka copperware, a traditional craft of Toyama Prefecture, is also a highlight.
This planetarium is easy to enjoy, whether you're with family or an adult alone.

From Toyama Station (South Exit), take the Toyama Chihō Railway Bus (Platform 5, Tatsuo Danchi/International University/Sasazu/Toyama National College of Technology route) → Get off at "Nishinakanoguchi" and walk for about 1 minute. Approximately 8 minutes from the Toyama Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway towards the city center.
