Izakaya Nekohachi

Local Food
Lunch Dinner Non smoking

A mild and gentle drink from an izakaya, perfect for lunch or as a late-night snack.

"Nekohachi," located in the Sengoku-cho shopping street in Toyama City, is an izakaya (Japanese pub) that specializes in ramen and yakisoba (fried noodles).

Open continuously from noon until night, this restaurant is popular for its casual atmosphere where you can enjoy not only meals but also drinks from early in the day.

"Kinsen Soy Sauce Ramen" is a dish made using the same recipe as "Kinsen," a local izakaya (Japanese pub) where the owner, Mr. Fujie, trained.
The sweet and mild soup, infused with dashi broth, has a gentle flavor that makes it perfect as a finishing dish after drinking, just like you'd expect at an izakaya (Japanese pub).

On the other hand, the thick slices of char siu, the chunky diced bamboo shoots, and the generous amount of green onions firmly assert the powerful flavor characteristic of Toyama Black ramen.
The "yakisoba," made with the same specially made noodles as the ramen and grilled to perfection, is another dish you should definitely try.
