Hirano-ya was founded in 1935 as a diner and has since become a beloved ice cream shop for the local community.
Our homemade ice cream, made using a recipe passed down from previous generations, is characterized by its moderate sweetness, rich flavor, and clean aftertaste.
In addition to being available in monaka (wafer) and soft serve ice cream forms, their take-out cup ice cream is also popular. They always have over 20 varieties available, including many flavors made with local ingredients.
Be sure to try the ice cream from "Hiranoya Ojisan," a long-loved local favorite.
