Nanakoshiyaki is a long-loved specialty of Toyama.

This is a Japanese confection made by filling a fluffy, disc-shaped dough with plenty of red bean paste or cream and then baking it.

The "red bean paste" uses 100% Hokkaido-grown adzuki beans, and the "white bean paste" uses 100% Hokkaido-grown white kidney beans. You can enjoy the elegant and gentle sweetness that brings out the original flavor of the beans. The "custard cream," which is rich yet has a clean aftertaste, is also popular.

You can buy freshly baked treats individually at the store, perfect for a snack or light meal. Boxes of 5 or 10 are also recommended as souvenirs.
