On Saturday, October 17, 2026, a special train will run on the Toyama Chihō Railway for one night only. "Ghost Train"It will be in operation.
The train departing from Dentetsu Toyama Station is headed for Arimineguchi Station, shrouded in the darkness of night. Onboard, passengers can enjoy ghost stories told by storyteller Ueda Ksenya as they travel along the railway lines after the last train of the night in a chartered train.
At Arimineguchi Station, you can explore the eerily quiet station building and platforms. Furthermore, a special event using paranormal investigation equipment will be held. This isn't just about listening to ghost stories; it's a unique night unique to Toyama Chihō Railway, where you'll actually ride a train at night and experience the station after the last train has left.
This tour has three highlights.

The usually quiet Toyama Chihō Railway will transform into a "ghost train" for one night only. Onboard the chartered train from Dentetsu Toyama Station to Arimineguchi Station, you can enjoy ghost stories told by storyteller Ueda Ksenya. It's an extraordinary train experience on the railway tracks after the last train of the night.

Exploring Arimineguchi Station
The train is headed towards Arimineguchi Station, nestled in the mountains. You'll walk through the station building and platforms after the last train has left, experiencing the quiet and serene atmosphere of the railway at night, completely different from the daytime.

A special horror experience
At Arimineguchi Station, a special event will be held using paranormal investigation equipment. As the train travels into the mountainous area at night, strange occurrences will gradually begin to happen inside the train and at the stations. What happens is a surprise for those who are on board.

Storyteller of ghost stories, Ksenia Ueda
A Russian-born, Toyama-based ghost story teller, writer, and YouTuber. He researches and collects ghost stories and strange experiences from all over Japan, and shares them through events, YouTube, and writing. He appeared in "Kanazawa Gathering of Ghosts" in 2025 and 2026. He conveys the allure of ghost stories from his unique perspective, while also paying attention to people's memories, the history of the land, and the culture.

- On the day of departure, registration will take place outside the ticket gates at Dentetsu Toyama Station approximately 60 to 30 minutes prior to departure. Please check the final itinerary for details.
- The final itinerary will not be sent in advance. Please download it yourself from the booking confirmation screen starting 5 days before your departure date and be sure to bring it with you on the day of departure.
- The departure and arrival times, operating sections, and rolling stock used for the "Ghost Train" may change depending on operating conditions.
- The doors will not open at any intermediate stations other than Arimineguchi Station. Also, boarding or alighting at intermediate stations, and leaving or joining the group midway are not permitted.
- There are no toilets on board. Please complete this in advance.
- There is no onboard service. Please bring any necessary food and drinks with you.
- Media coverage and filming may take place on the day of the event.
