"Owara Tamaten" is a traditional Japanese confection that has been loved for a long time in Etchu Yatsuo.

Its gentle flavor, reminiscent of a Japanese-style marshmallow, is its charm. Whipped egg whites are mixed with sugar and agar-agar, solidified, then cut into cubes, coated in egg yolk, and baked until golden brown.

The crispy exterior and the light, fluffy interior melt in your mouth—each one is a testament to the craftsmanship of the artisans who meticulously prepare them.

The wrapping paper features a design by printmaker Shiko Munakata. It's a simple yet somehow special and memorable item.
