Light Rail Monaka / Seishindo

Souvenirs

Train-shaped monaka (a type of Japanese sweet) that's fun to look at and delicious to eat.

These monaka (a type of Japanese sweet) are shaped like the Toyama Light Rail, a streetcar that runs through Toyama City, making them fun to look at.

These monaka wafers, made with glutinous rice from Toyama Prefecture, have a crisp, fragrant shell and are generously filled with sweet bean paste.

In keeping with the train's colors, we offer seven varieties: smooth bean paste, chunky bean paste, walnut, yuzu citrus, shiso leaf, matcha green tea, and sesame. Each offers a unique and flavorful taste that highlights the characteristics of its ingredients.

The packaging features a design that replicates an actual train, making it enjoyable to display even after the contents are gone. It's also a great souvenir for children who love vehicles or for railway enthusiasts.

[Shelf life estimate] Approximately 2 weeks from the date of manufacture
