Washi paper products that add color to everyday life

"Yao Washi" is a traditional craft passed down in Yao-machi, Toyama City.

Currently, Keijusha, founded in 1960, is the only company that has inherited this technology and continues to manufacture the product.

Handmade washi paper is appealing for its incredible durability and unique texture, unlike anything you'd expect from paper.
Using the "katazome" technique, which involves dyeing patterns using stencils, these folk-art style products are produced with striking, vibrant colors.

Washi paper products, such as business card holders and book covers, gain more character the more you use them, adding a touch of elegance to your daily life.
