What is Spinney?

Based on the concept of "traveling through the everyday life of Toyama," this little press has been self-publishing since 2017, spearheaded by Azusa Iba (editor and copywriter) and Yukiko Takai (writer). They have been introducing their favorite shops, beloved items, and local food culture of Toyama in their own words and with their own warmth. As they expand their reach from books to the web, they will continue to update their daily portrayal of Toyama, incorporating new things they have encountered. They hope to be a catalyst for people to discover and rediscover the charm of Toyama.
