Toyama City Family Park

Toyama City Family Park is a place where the nature of the countryside and animals coexist peacefully.
Located about 20 minutes by car from the city center, this is a tranquil oasis surrounded by lush greenery.

Within the park, you can encounter approximately 90 different species of animals, including animals from around the world such as giraffes and zebras, as well as Japanese wild animals such as serows and Steller's sea eagles.
Among them, the most popular is the Japanese rock ptarmigan, a national special natural monument.
This is one of the few facilities in Japan where you can observe them throughout the year, and the fluffy "winter plumage rock ptarmigan" (from late October) is a hot topic on social media.

There are plenty of exciting programs, such as "Snack Time" where you can peek in on the animals' meals, feeding giraffes and wolves, and horseback riding experiences.
With a "Forest Adventure Area" where children can play to their heart's content in the forest, a mini amusement park, and a cafe, this facility is a place where both adults and children can relax and spend a whole day.

With its beautiful seasonal changes—fresh greenery in spring, shady summer trees, vibrant autumn leaves, and snowy winter landscapes—it's perfect for a casual outing.
