Fuiwa Canal Kansui Park
A 9-minute walk from Toyama Station. A rest stop where you can fall in love with the scenery during your journey.
Located just a 9-minute walk from Toyama Station, it's easily accessible and a popular spot to stop by during your travels.
From the iconic Tianmen Bridge and observation tower (9:00-21:30), you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire park and the surrounding cityscape.
Within the park, you'll find a Starbucks described as "the most beautiful in the world," as well as a restaurant supervised by French culinary master Hiroyuki Sakai, where you can enjoy coffee and meals while taking in the scenery.
During the day, the area is bustling with people enjoying picnics and strolls, and in the evening, the waterfront is softly illuminated with colors. In winter, a "tree of light" and approximately 2 illuminations create a romantic scene.
Furthermore, a ride on the Fugan Water Line will take you on a short boat trip to the port town of Iwase (operates annually from late March to November).
This park offers a relaxing time typical of Toyama, where you can unwind amidst the water and light.
