Located in the hilly town of Etchu Yatsuo, the Yatsuo Owara Shiryoukan is a museum that conveys the history and charm of the Owara Kaze no Bon festival in a space that recreates a traditional townhouse.

The museum displays valuable materials related to the late Junji Kawasaki, the restorer of Owara and the first chairman of the Owara Preservation Society, as well as records of his interactions with many literary figures and artists, including the painter Hoan Kosugi and the poet Ujo Noguchi.
You can feel the cultural background in which Owara has been nurtured, as well as the passion of the people of Yao.

Furthermore, the powerful visuals projected onto the large screen create an immersive experience of the Owara Kaze no Bon festival night, making you feel as if you're right there in the middle of the circle dance.
