Toyama Ohashi Pocket Park
A place where you can encounter a truly Toyama-esque moment: the streetcar and the Tateyama mountain range come into view together.
Toyama Ohashi Pocket Park is a scenic spot where you can enjoy a view typical of Toyama, with the streetcar and the Tateyama mountain range visible together.
From the observation decks on both sides of the bridge, you can see the city trams running across the Toyama Bridge, the buildings of the city center, and on clear days, the magnificent Tateyama mountain range, all at once.
The scenery of streetcars running through the city and the mountains towering in the distance is a unique charm of Toyama. It is especially recommended for photography on clear days or during the winter and spring when the snow-covered Tateyama mountain range is visible.
Easily accessible from Toyama Station and the city center, this viewpoint is perfect for a casual stop while exploring the city by tram.
*During the daytime, streetcars pass by every few minutes, offering a chance to capture a fleeting moment of them in the background with the Tateyama mountain range.
