A time to see, touch, and be filled with art and design.
Located on the banks of the Fugan Canal Kansui Park, the Toyama Prefectural Museum of Art (TAD) is a museum that "connects art and design."
Inside the museum, you can encounter a wide range of artistic expressions, from works by renowned masters such as Picasso, Miró, and Chagall, to design pieces such as posters and chairs.
Just quietly gazing at it, you feel as if your senses are gently opening up.
The "Onomatopoeia Rooftop" on the roof is a colorful art space featuring onomatopoeia and mimetic words as its motifs.
This is a relaxing spot where the view brightens up as it overlaps with the scenery of the Tateyama mountain range and Kansui Park.
The museum features a spacious cafe, a popular restaurant, and a charming museum shop, making it a popular outing spot for women where "seeing, learning, and relaxing" are gently intertwined.
The building features a beautiful glass-walled design incorporating wood and aluminum from Toyama Prefecture.
The refreshing space designed by architect Hiroshi Naito will soothe your mind with every step, making your day of art experience even more special.
