A spectacular view stretching from the Tateyama mountain range to the Noto Peninsula.
A carpet of light stretches from downtown Toyama to the Tonami area.
You can drive almost all the way to the summit, and the scenery of the valley along the way is also excellent.

Located at an altitude of 600-650m, the Ushidake Panorama Observatory is an attractive viewpoint offering a "360-degree panoramic view" encompassing the Tateyama mountain range, the Toyama Plain, the Tonami Plain, Toyama Bay, and the Noto Peninsula.

On a clear day, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic Tateyama mountain range, the cityscape spreading out below, and even the distant sea.

At night, the city lights stretching from Toyama city center to Tonami, Takaoka, and Imizu sparkle at your feet, creating a fantastical world completely different from the daytime. Just a short walk from the city center, you can encounter breathtakingly beautiful scenery that will leave you speechless.

The observation deck is located near the summit of the Central Slope at Ushidake Onsen Ski Resort and is accessible by car.
Along the way, there are auto campsites and driving routes where you can enjoy the clear waters of the Yamada River and the surface of the Yutanigawa Dam lake, making exploring the surrounding area one of its attractions.
There are also hot spring facilities nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding places to stop by.

*Please note that this road is closed during the ski season (mid-December to early March).
