Toyama City Fuchu Yasuda Castle Ruins Historical Square and Yasuda Castle Ruins Museum
A flatland castle associated with Toyotomi Hideyoshi, offering a glimpse into the memories of the Sengoku period.
"Yasuda Castle Ruins Historical Square" is a historical park that restores and develops the ruins of Yasuda Castle, which is associated with Toyotomi Hideyoshi's invasion of Etchu Province.
In the plaza, the three baileys—the main bailey, the second bailey, and the right bailey—along with the surrounding moats and earthworks have been restored, allowing visitors to freely stroll around and experience the atmosphere of a castle from the Sengoku period.
The adjacent Yasuda Castle Ruins Museum displays excavated artifacts and uses videos and panels to clearly explain the castle's history and structure. It also hosts special exhibitions and features maps of castles in the prefecture, allowing visitors to learn about the history and appeal of other castles.
This is a recommended tourist spot for history buffs and families alike, offering opportunities for historical exploration and learning.
